Police looking for data in mysterious demise of man pulled from East River

Cops are in search of data associated to the mysterious demise of an aged man discovered within the East River in early November — and whose identify was simply launched Monday.

In keeping with police, round 8 a.m. on Nov. 9, a 911 name alerted police a few man noticed within the East River close to South St. within the Monetary District of Manhattan. The harbor unit responded, pulling the sufferer out of the water; he was unconscious and unresponsive, police stated. Medics pronounced him useless on the scene.

On Monday, police recognized the person as James Simmons, 65, of Brooklyn.
