MTA employee charged with slashing man in Brooklyn subway station

An MTA employee is going through expenses for slashing a person who had been sleeping on a bench inside a Brooklyn subway station early Monday, police sources mentioned.

The sufferer, a 47-year-old man, was reduce close to his left eye on the platform for the outbound D and R trains on the Atlantic Avenue–Barclays Middle station about 1:45 a.m. Monday, cops mentioned.

Medics took the sufferer to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in secure situation.

The employee was arrested with expenses towards him pending.

It was not instantly clear what sparked the slashing. The MTA employee was pouring bleach when an argument erupted with the sufferer, police sources advised PIX11.
