Artists with disabilities make up 11% of the awardee cohort. The recipients vary between 29 and 72 years outdated, with artists representing 18 states throughout the US and 29 cities complete — together with Berlin, Germany, and Demorestville, Canada.

Among the many grantees, 14 are visible artists, 15 work in performing arts, 12 are within the movie and shifting picture sector, three have been awarded for initiatives in know-how, and 5 acquired grants for literary initiatives.

“From a landscape opera that tells ancestral stories of environment in the Jurassic canyons of southern Colorado, to an experimental documentary exploring migration and forensics on the South Texas border, to a project that transforms a Louisiana plantation into a site of reckoning, these 55 visionary artist proposals are boldly pushing form and ideas forward,” stated Angela Mattox, director of Artist Initiatives at Inventive Capital, in a press assertion.
