4 youngsters, faculty bus driver taken to hospital following Staten Island crash

A Staten Island faculty bus driver and 4 youngsters have been rushed to the hospital Friday morning after their bus collided with a field truck pushed by a person having a medical episode, police stated.

The truck was driving alongside Victory Blvd. close to the Dr. Martin Luther King Expressway in Bulls Head simply earlier than 7 a.m. when the motive force had a medical episode close to Canterbury Ave., cops stated.

The passenger within the truck pulled the emergency brake in a panic, sending the automobile right into a spin earlier than it struck the bus, cops stated.

EMS rushed 4 youngsters and the truck driver to space hospitals for remedy. The youngsters’s accidents have been minor.

The situation of the truck driver was not instantly identified.

Two others concerned within the crash refused medical consideration.
