Former Minnesota Vikings punter Chris Kluwe thanked supporters after being arrested for training “civil disobedience” throughout in a Southern California metropolis council assembly the place the set up of a MAGA plaque was being mentioned.

“‘MAGA’ is profoundly corrupt, unmistakably anti-democracy and, most importantly, ‘MAGA’ is explicitly a Nazi movement,” Kluwe mentioned from behind a podium Tuesday.

He then introduced he would “engage in the time-honored American tradition of peaceful civil disobedience” earlier than approaching metropolis council members, sitting on the bottom in entrance of them and being arrested.

The 43-year-old former punter spent eight seasons within the NFL. He’s a longtime homosexual rights advocate who suspects his activism would be the cause he was booted from skilled soccer.
