Invoice Maher has opened up about Larry David’s satirical essay evaluating his dinner with Donald Trump to breaking bread with Adolf Hitler.

The “Real Time” host, a vocal critic of the MAGA chief up to now, gave a glowing account of attending a March 31 dinner with the president alongside excessive profile supporters like Child Rock.

He described Trump as “gracious” on the April 11 episode of his HBO discuss present, including: “Everything I’ve ever not liked about him was — I swear to God — absent, at least on this night with this guy.”

“Curb Your Enthusiasm” creator and star David penned a satirical New York Occasions article giving a first-person account from a critic of Hitler who accepts a dinner invitation from the ruthless dictator and later decides “we’re not that different, after all.”

In response, Maher — who’s Jewish like David — took umbrage with the comparability throughout a “Piers Morgan Uncensored” look on Thursday.

“First of all, it’s kind of insulting to 6 million dead Jews,” the previous “Politically Incorrect” star stated. “It’s an argument you kind of lost just to start it. Look, maybe it’s not completely logically fair, but Hitler has really kind of got to stay in his own place. He is the GOAT of evil.”

Maher informed Morgan he all the time thought of David a buddy, and was blindsided in regards to the piece: “This wasn’t my favorite moment of our friendship.”

He continued: “Nobody has been harder, and more prescient, I must say, about Donald Trump than me. I don’t need to be lectured on who Donald Trump is. Just the fact that I met him in person didn’t change that. The fact that I reported honestly is not a sin, either.”

Maher continues to be leaving the door open to turning into “friends again” with David explaining to  “Celebrity Apprentice” winner Mordan: “I can take a shot and I can also take it when people disagree with me. That’s not exactly the way I would’ve done it.”
