A gaggle of Venezuelan males at a Texas immigrant detention facility going through potential deportation to El Salvador spelled out “S-O-S” with their our bodies this week.

“S-O-S” is a universally acknowledged misery code calling for assist or rescue.

Earlier this month, officers at Bluebonnet had notified dozens of males they have been accused of being members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and have been being deported underneath a late 18th-century wartime regulation.

Relations of a number of the males instructed Reuters they aren’t gang members and refused to signal paperwork on the contrary. The Trump administration can also be attempting to revoke non permanent protections for Venezuelan refugees.

They have been loaded onto a bus on April 18 that was headed to Abilene Regional airport earlier than all of a sudden returning to Bluebonnet after the Supreme Courtroom briefly blocked their deportation.

They nonetheless face potential deportation to the infamous CECOT most safety jail in El Salvador if the block is lifted.

Bluebonnet is owned by a personal firm that was contracted by ICE.

The plea for assist comes because the Trump administration refuses to adjust to a courtroom order to facilitate the return of El Salvadoran Maryland resident Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was deported to CECOT and has equally been accused of being a gang member with scant proof.
