A number of individuals have been faraway from Rep. Mike Lawler’s city corridor in Westchester County in the course of the chaotic assembly on Sunday night time.

Lawler, a self-styled average Republican and potential candidate for governor, spoke to about 600 constituents in Somers. It was the second in a deliberate sequence of city halls hosted by the Republican consultant for New York’s seventeenth District.

“This is what democracy looks like,” Lawler stated originally of the occasion, which was met by groans from the viewers.

Lawler confronted boos, jeers and groans all through the contentious night time, as he tried to defend President Trump’s insurance policies in a average district.
