Francisco Lindor hit a go-ahead homer to begin a four-run eighth inning and the New York Mets beat the Chicago Cubs 6-2 on Sunday to keep away from dropping their second dwelling sequence this season.

Lindor snapped a 2-2 tie in opposition to Porter Hodge (2-1) by getting forward within the depend and lifting a full depend sweeper over the right-center discipline fence.
