The reigning Miss United States claims a Florida consultant threatened to launch intercourse tapes and nude movies of her after she ended their relationship.

Lindsey Langston, 25, says Rep. Cory Mills, a 45-year-old Republican, grew more and more upset after she broke off their relationship in February, Politico reported Tuesday. Along with her pageant profession, Langston is a Republican state committee member.

“Let him put his actions behind his mouth. I can send him a few videos of you as well. Oh, I still have them,” Mills allegedly wrote in a single message cited within the report.

Langston mentioned she ended her relationship with Mills after he was accused in February of assaulting  one other lady in Washington, D.C. No fees have been filed in that case.

In a press release to The Hill on Wednesday, Mills denied Langston’s accusations, claiming they “misrepresent the nature of my interactions.”

It’s each a state crime in Florida and a federal crime to threaten to launch specific materials of somebody. Mills himself voted for the Take It Down Act, which prohibits “nonconsensual online publication of intimate visual depictions of individuals.”

Miss United States, the pageant Langston received final yr, just isn’t affiliated with Miss USA or Miss America.
