A professional-Palestine protester splattered purple paint throughout the Greenwich Village house of the New York Occasions govt editor early Friday, police mentioned.

The purple paint was discovered on the entrance steps, partitions, sidewalk and lamps outdoors the doorway to the swanky residence constructing on Fifth Ave. close to E. eleventh St. at about 3 a.m. on Friday.

In addition to smearing purple paint on the partitions and steps, the vandal wrote “Joe Kahn Lies, Gaza Dies” in black marker on the sidewalk in entrance of the entrance door.

Police sources mentioned there have been a handful of comparable protests towards Kahn’s house over the New York Occasions’ protection of the warfare in Gaza. Kahn was named govt editor of the paper in 2022.
