A brazen intruder who allegedly sexually assaulted a 71-year-old girl in her mattress after sneaking by way of a window into her Brooklyn residence has been arrested, cops stated Thursday.

Servin Maradiaga, 43, crawled into mattress with the sleeping sufferer and started strangling and groping her after he snuck by way of a kitchen window into her residence close to Berriman St. and Liberty Ave. in Cypress Hills round 2:15 a.m. on August 30, police stated.

After assaulting the terrified girl, Maradiaga snatched her pajama pants and fled in what cops described as a “sexually motivated burglary.”

Maradiaga was arrested in Brooklyn round 9 a.m. Thursday, and faces fees together with rape, housebreaking, felony obstruction of respiration, and aggravated sexual abuse.

Maradiaga lives in East Elmhurst in Queens, about eight miles from the sufferer’s residence, in response to police.

It was not instantly clear what Maradiaga was doing in Brooklyn forward of the assault. Police stated it’s not believed he and the sufferer knew one another earlier than the stunning intrusion.
