Actor Aubrey Plaza broke her silence Monday on the latest dying of her husband, Jeff Baena, saying it was an “unimaginable tragedy” and asking for privateness.
Baena, an unbiased filmmaker, died Friday at his Los Feliz residence, in response to the Los Angeles County coroner’s workplace, which decided the reason for dying to be suicide. He was 47.

“This is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support,” Plaza and the Baena and Stern households mentioned in a press release shared with The Instances. “Please respect our privacy during this time.”
Baena’s dying prompted Plaza to step other than her duties presenting the 82nd Golden Globes in Los Angels on Sunday night.
Baena directed Plaza in his 2017 darkish comedy movie “The Little Hours” and co-wrote David O. Russell’s 2004 comedy film “I Heart Huckabees.” The pair started relationship in 2001 and have been married in Could 2021.
