British model Burberry appoints Stella King as director

Burberry Group plc (the “Company”) is happy to announce the next Board modifications:

Stella King has been appointed to the Board as an unbiased Non-Government Director and member of the Nomination Committee, with impact from 1 April 2025.

Stella is at present at Moncler which she joined 13 years in the past in 2011 as President, Asia Pacific. In January 2022 she moved to the function of Chief Chinese language Enterprise Officer and can step down from that function on 31 December 2024. She additionally served as a Non-Government Director of Moncler subsidiary Stone Island between March 2021 and April 2024. Earlier in her profession, Stella served as President, Asia Pacific for Sergio Rossi and in addition held numerous managerial positions at Lane Crawford in Mainland China.

The Firm confirms there isn’t any additional data to be disclosed pursuant to LR 6.4.8 R in relation to Stella King’s appointment.

Fabiola Arredondo and Antoine de Saint-Affrique will retire from the Board as Non-Government Administrators following the AGM to be held in July 2025.

Fabiola has served as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees since her appointment on 10 March 2015. She is a former Chair of the Remuneration Committee and has additionally served as a member of the Audit Committee. Antoine joined the Board on 1 January 2021 and has been a member of the Audit and Nomination Committees since that date. Fabiola and Antoine will proceed to function committee members till their retirement from the Board.

Gerry Murphy, Burberry Chair, mentioned: “Stella has impressive and deep understanding of the luxury market and consumers in the Asia Pacific region. Her insight and expertise will be a great asset to Burberry and we are delighted that she has accepted our invitation to join the Burberry Board.”
