Francesca Du Brock, chief curator of the Anchorage Museum, has been named the winner of the 2025 Marica Vilcek Prize in Artwork Historical past for her holistic and complete strategy to exhibition curation. An educator and artist, Du Brock’s work embodies the spirit of collaboration and inclusivity. 

A lifelong member of her neighborhood, Du Brock’s follow is grounded in social engagement, place-based storytelling, and environmental justice. 

“A strong relationship to people and place animates and inspires all that I do,” says Du Brock.
