The Colorado Division of Public Well being and Setting has suspended a second chemist and stopped water testing on the state laboratory amid a state investigation into manipulated information.

As a precautionary measure, CDPHE says it has quickly suspended water testing within the chemistry program on the state laboratory. The company says it is working with the U.S. Environmental Safety Company to find out subsequent steps.

Public well being officers mentioned it could be outsourcing EPA-certified steel and nitrate testing to business, accredited laboratories.
