Denmark says it should summon a US diplomat over report on elevated US intel gathering in Greenland

COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Denmark says it should summon the highest U.S. diplomat within the nation for an evidence following a Wall Road Journal report about america stepping up intelligence gathering on Greenland, a semi-autonomous Danish territory coveted by President Donald Trump.

Danish Overseas Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen advised broadcaster DR outdoors a gathering Wednesday with colleagues in Poland that Denmark would summon the U.S. chargé d’affaires to hunt a “rebuttal” or different clarification following the report.
