Development employee killed in Manhattan constructing collapse

A building employee was killed in a Manhattan constructing collapse Friday morning, the FDNY stated.

The severity of the collapse was not instantly clear.

The incident occurred at 9:18 a.m. on E. thirty fifth St. close to Park Ave. in Murray Hill.

The employee was apparently hit by falling particles, officers stated.

Details about the work being executed just isn’t listed on the Division of Constructing’s web site.

A report printed in June stated permits had been filed for a 18-story mixed-use constructing that may embrace 137 residences.
