Elaine Wynn, the co-founder of Mirage Resorts and Wynn Resorts, billionaire artwork collector and philanthropist, has died. She was 82.

The Elaine P. Wynn & Household Basis introduced her demise on Tuesday. The reason for demise was not instantly identified.

In 2016, she pledged $50 million towards LACMA’s new Peter Zumthor-designed everlasting assortment constructing. Elements of the plaza across the David Geffen Galleries will open by summer time; the north wing is called the Elaine Wynn Wing in honor of the trustee and board co-chair’s preliminary contribution.
