{An electrical} employee was badly injured after being electrocuted whereas engaged on energy strains from a cherry picker in Queens on Friday.

The employee, an worker of E-J Electrical, was severely electrocuted whereas within the elevated field of a cherry picker engaged on energy strains at 117th St. and Ninth Ave. in Faculty Level round 11:30 a.m., sustaining burns to the chest and neck, FDNY officers stated.

EMS rushed the employee to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens. The person’s situation was not instantly identified.
