FBI arrests suspect in plot to bomb New York Inventory Alternate

A south Florida man has been arrested by the FBI on accusations of plotting to explode the New York Inventory Alternate, in keeping with court docket paperwork filed Wednesday.

Harun Abdul-Malik Yener was charged in Miami-Dade County with “attempting to use an improvised explosive device to damage or destroy a building used in interstate or foreign commerce,” prosecutors wrote within the legal criticism.

Officers describe Yener, 30, as a south Florida resident who was born within the U.S. and is at the moment homeless.
