George Clooney is disregarding President Trump’s mockery over his new standing as a French citizen.
Trump took to his personal platform, Fact Social, to bash Clooney and his spouse, Amal, upon studying they’ve secured citizenship abroad, labeling them the “worst political prognosticators of all time.” He advised his followers their transfer comes simply as Paris is “in the midst of a major crime problem because of their absolutely horrendous handling of immigration, much like we had under Sleepy Joe Biden.”
Trump went on to reference how Clooney, a significant Hollywood fundraiser for Democrats, issued a public name for Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race after he struggled in a debate in opposition to Trump within the lead-up to the election.
The “Good Night, and Good Luck” star later supported then-Vice President Kamala Harris.
“Clooney got more publicity for politics than he did for his very few, and totally mediocre, movies,” Trump continued in his submit. “He wasn’t a movie star at all, he was just an average guy who complained, constantly, about common sense in politics.”
