Sorai King, 20, was on his solution to the shop round 1:30 p.m. when he was shot within the neck and chest close to E. 217th St. and Bronxwood Ave. in Williamsbridge, police mentioned.

“He was just going to the store. He didn’t bother anybody,” Deyo mentioned, including: “We want justice.”

The supervisor of the bodega, who witnessed the conflict, mentioned the sufferer and one other man had been combating outdoors the shop earlier than they each bumped into the bodega.

“They were fighting outside the store. They both ran in and he shot him,” mentioned the supervisor of Shak Deli, who declined to provide his identify for worry of retaliation.

He mentioned he didn’t know what the combat was about.

“I don’t know them. They weren’t customers,” the deli supervisor mentioned. “They just ran in and he fired. He was dead.”

There have been no arrests; police mentioned the investigation is ongoing..
