DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Israel and Hamas agreed to a ceasefire deal, mediators introduced Wednesday, pausing a devastating 15-month warfare within the Gaza Strip and elevating the opportunity of winding down the the deadliest and most harmful preventing between the bitter enemies.

The deal, coming after weeks of painstaking negotiations within the Qatari capital, guarantees the discharge of dozens of hostages held by Hamas in phases, the discharge of tons of of Palestinian prisoners in Israel and would permit tons of of 1000’s of individuals displaced in Gaza to return to what stays of their houses.
