Retired NFL quarterback John Elway was reportedly driving a golf cart along with his former agent Jeff Sperbeck when the latter man suffered life-threatening accidents.

Elway was behind the wheel of the cart on Saturday night in La Quinta, Calif. when Sperbeck fell off off the again and hit his head on asphalt, TMZ reported.

Sperbeck, 61, suffered severe harm and is now on life assist. He isn’t anticipated to outlive.
