A 37-year-old man shot within the head throughout an tried theft of an unlawful playing den in Queens has died, police mentioned Monday.

Yun Li was within the basement of a constructing on Haight St. close to forty first Ave. in Flushing when a trio of crooks tried to rob the place about 9:20 p.m. on Dec. 19, cops mentioned.

The robbers shot Li within the head and a 42-year-old man within the cheek earlier than fleeing the playing joint.

Medics rushed Li to New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens in important situation. He died 4 days later.

Li lived inside strolling distance of the constructing the place he was shot.
