Cited causes for not receiving remedy included reluctance to cease substance use, inadequate well being care protection, lack of understanding about remedy applications, and adverse impacts on employment and neighborhood perceptions.
“These results call for urgent interventions to bridge the gap between the need for and receipt of SUD treatment,” the authors write.
