Torres-Springer and three of her fellow deputy mayors — Meera Joshi, Anne Williams-Isom and Chauncey Parker — submitted their resignations final month after voicing concern about Adams’ means to steer the town. These issues got here amid the Trump Division of Justice’s effort to drop Adams’ federal corruption indictment with out prejudice, an association many say makes Adams beholden to Trump.
