Mayor Adams has been cooperating with the town corruption watchdog’s investigation into attainable violations of ethics legal guidelines, his spokesperson mentioned Friday.

“This is a non-criminal, ethics review, and the Mayor is fully confident it will show he followed the law,” Todd Shapiro mentioned of the Division of Investigation’s probe. “The federal case was dismissed because the allegations had no merit. Mayor Adams respects DOI’s process and will continue to cooperate. His focus remains on serving New Yorkers and delivering results.”

Adams’ federal corruption indictment was dropped in April by Trump’s Justice Division.
