“Little House on the Prairie” star Melissa Gilbert is pushing again on Megyn Kelly’s “woke” criticism concerning a forthcoming reboot of the TV basic.
“Netflix, if you wokeify ‘Little House on the Prairie’ I will make it my singular mission to absolutely ruin your project,” tweeted Kelly, who was famously fired from her discuss present in 2018 after suggesting it was OK for white individuals to put on blackface on Halloween.

Gilbert, who performed central character Laura Ingalls Wilder within the authentic collection, shot again at Kelly’s commentary.
“Ummm…watch the original again. TV doesn’t get too much more ‘woke’ than we did,” Gilbert replied on Meta’s Threads. “We tackled: racism, addiction, nativism, antisemitism, misogyny, rape, spousal abuse and every other ‘woke’ topic you can think of. Thank you very much.”

The official logline for the reboot reads: “Part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale and part origin story of the American West, this fresh adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s iconic semi-autobiographical ‘Little House’ books offers a kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.”
There was no phrase on whether or not Gilbert, at present starring within the Off-Broadway play “Still,” is hooked up to the reboot.
