Metro-North brings ‘superexpress’ trains to Hudson Line

Hudson Valley commuters will quickly have the ability to get to and from town quicker, as Metro-North rolls out “superexpress” trains on the Hudson Line subsequent month.

Beginning Monday, Oct. 6, six trains a day will run between Poughkeepsie in Dutchess County and Grand Central Terminal in roughly 90 minutes — 5 to seven minutes quicker than the present schedule. “Between Grand Central and Poughkeepsie these are the fastest times in Metro-North history,” mentioned Metro-North President Justin Vonashek.
