The Mets introduced a minor process for Francisco Lindor on Wednesday afternoon, with the star shortstop having undergone a debridement in his proper elbow. It’s not clear when Lindor had the process carried out, with the crew solely saying it occurred “recently.”
The surgical procedure isn’t anticipated to delay the begin to his 2026 season.
Lindor, who will probably be 32 in November, had a stellar season in 2025, making the All-Star crew for the primary time with the Mets, hitting .267 with an .811 OPS. His complete run worth of three was the bottom of his profession, and his 5 outs above common had been the second-fewest, down from 14 in 2024. His arm power was roughly the identical it’s been since he was traded from Cleveland to New York, so if his elbow was an issue, you couldn’t inform.
