Two adults are lifeless and one 17-year-old boy was significantly injured in a wrong-way crash within the Hudson Valley space early Wednesday morning, New York State Police stated.

The pinnacle-on car collision occurred simply earlier than 2 a.m. on a freeway within the Village of Chester, roughly 60 miles northwest of Midtown Manhattan.

In keeping with state troopers, the feminine driver of a 2009 Nissan was touring eastbound within the westbound lanes of State Route 17, when she collided head-on with a 2014 Honda Odyssey.

Each the motive force of the Nissan, later recognized as 25-year-old Sydney M. Haines, of Blackwood, N.J., and the opposite driver, 54-year-old Mordichy Zafir, of Kiamesha Lake, N.Y., have been pronounced lifeless on the scene.

A 17-year-old male passenger of the Honda, additionally from Kiamesha Lake, was “seriously injured” within the crash and rushed to Garnet Medical Middle in Middletown, N.Y.
