NBA veteran and former New York Knick Marcus Morris was arrested Sunday in Florida on a felony fraud cost.
Morris, 35, remained behind bars with out bail on Monday, in line with on-line jail data in Broward County. He was accused of writing a test with inadequate funds, and the data indicated he was held on an out of state warrant.
The arrest was on account of an unpaid playing debt, in line with Morris’ agent, Yony Noy.
“Just so everyone understands this is zero fraud here,” Noy wrote on social media. “This is due to an outstanding marker with a casino. Apparently if you have over $1,200 they can issue a warrant for your arrest.”
