NYPD divers had been scouring the waters off of decrease Manhattan looking for a person who jumped off the Staten Island Ferry on Saturday.

The unidentified sufferer was on the ferry because it approached the tip of Manhattan simply earlier than 10 a.m. when witnesses noticed him vault over the railing into the water.

Passengers instantly alerted the boat’s crew, who contacted police.
