The petrified pup was rescued by officers from the NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit after a bystander referred to as 911 to report a canine hit by a northbound 2 prepare on the 14th St. subway station close to Union Sq. round 9:45 a.m., in line with police. Mercifully, the darkish grey, curly haired canine — who seemed to be a labradoodle — was discovered unhurt, curled up on the tracks beneath the prepare, cops stated.
The canine — named Moose — one way or the other wound up on the tracks after operating away from his doggy day care facility when somebody left the door open, in line with a police supply. “The dog decided to take the train,” the supply stated. “I guess he wanted to go home.”
Moose was later reunited along with his proprietor.
