The SMU DataArts High Arts-Vibrant Communities rating ranks the highest 20 giant cities and the highest 10 medium and small communities. 

San Francisco, together with San Mateo and Redwood Metropolis, ranked the very best among the many giant communities for the second 12 months in a row.
