In a unique and high-level sports event, the desert of Al-Ula hosted the “Alfursan’ Cup 2024,” with the participation of 51 countries in an exciting endurance race covering 120 kilometres. The presence of the President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation, Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd Al Saud, and several distinguished sports figures graced the event.

The championship stood out for the strong performance of the riders, the level of organization, and widespread participation, reflecting the crucial role that equestrianism and similar tournaments play in strengthening ties between nations and celebrating rich cultural heritage. The riders and their horses showcased high levels of readiness, harmony, and competitiveness, illustrating the profound connection between the horsemen and their steeds despite the challenges posed by the harsh desert and its rugged terrain.

At the end of the championship, the President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation Prince Abdullah Bin Fahd Al Saud awarded the winners of the top three positions. Qatari rider Saed Al-Nuaimi secured first place, followed by Saudi rider Fares Abu Ras in second place, while Emirati rider Hamad Al-Tamimi secured third place.

Participants praised the excellent organization of the championship, noting that the efforts in coordinating events and logistical details were at the highest level, creating an ideal environment for competition. They emphasized the importance of good preparation, intensive training before the championship, and technical and moral support from the organizers and the audience. This support boosted their confidence and motivated them to give their best.

The ” alfursan’ Cup 2024″ celebrates excellence, rich traditions, and sportsmanship, serving as a platform for cultural exchange and fostering nation brotherhood. The event, marked by high professionalism and organizational creativity, created a unique experience for participants and spectators alike, from logistical preparations to meticulous race management.

This event is part of the ongoing efforts of the state to elevate sports and promote the cultural and civilizational image of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It reflects a belief in sports’ importance in enhancing human communication and exchanging experiences and knowledge among nations.
