President Trump doubled down on his distaste for the late night time TV panorama with a blistering social media submit Tuesday morning.

The MAGA chief took to his Fact Social platform claiming to have inside information concerning the destiny of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” following Thursday’s cancellation announcement of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

“The word is, and it’s a strong word at that, Jimmy Kimmel is NEXT to go in the untalented Late Night Sweepstakes and, shortly thereafter, [Jimmy] Fallon will be gone,” he wrote.

President Donald Trump posted to Fact Social his hopes that Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon would get cancelled.

“These are people with absolutely NO TALENT, who were paid Millions of Dollars for, in all cases, destroying what used to be GREAT Television,” Trump continued. “It’s really good to see them go, and I hope I played a major part in it!”

“I absolutely love that Colbert got fired,” he wrote on social media final Friday, including that Kimmel “has even less talent than Colbert” earlier than referring to Fallon as “the Moron on NBC who ruined the once great ‘Tonight Show.’”

Fallon initially reacted to the “Late Show” cancellation in a press release Friday morning, calling Colbert “one of the sharpest, funniest hosts to ever do it.”

“I’m just as shocked as everyone,” Fallon mentioned. “I really thought I’d ride this out with him for years to come.”

He additional slammed the cancellation throughout his opening monologue of Monday night time’s broadcast, earlier than taking a shot at President Trump.

“Stephen has done years of incredibly smart and hilarious television, and he’s won 10 Emmys,” Fallon mentioned. “Trump heard and was like, ‘Big deal, last week I just won a FIFA World Cup trophy.’”

The joke was a reference to Trump showing onstage alongside members of the Chelsea soccer workforce throughout their FIFA Membership World Cup victory celebrations on July 13, the place he was seen tucking a winners medal into his go well with jacket.
