Wrestling celebrity Marcus “Buff” Bagwell had most of his leg amputated Thursday, following years of medical issues stemming from a critical automobile accident in 2020.
The amputation was confirmed Friday by Bagwell’s longtime pal and BookProWrestlers.web proprietor Steve Stasiak, who stated in a heartfelt assertion that the above-the-knee amputation had taken place early Thursday morning.
“I’ve known Buff a long time. I’ve seen him in the spotlight, I’ve seen him behind the scenes, and I’ve seen him fight through things most people never even hear about,” Stasiak wrote on Fb. “This one… this is hard. For him. For everyone who knows and loves him.”
