Police launched photos and video on Friday of a person who is needed for bashing a cat with a stool on an East Village avenue, in a cowardly caught-on-video assault.
The suspect struck the furry feline with a wood stool shortly after midnight on Dec. 4 round E. Ninth St. and Avenue D in Alphabet Metropolis so onerous that it broke the animal’s jaw and fractured vertebrae in its neck and again, police mentioned.
After hitting the cat, which seems to be a tabby in video launched by police, the person fled the world to elements unknown.
The cat was taken to Brooklyn Bridge Animal Welfare Coalition, the place it’s in secure situation, in line with police.
Cops mentioned the animal was a stray.
