French vogue home Mugler has introduced the appointment of Portuguese, Paris-based designer Miguel Castro Freitas as its new inventive director.
Freitas will succeed Casey Cadwallader, who’s exiting the style home after seven years.

Freitas goals to convey his imaginative and prescient and creativity to the model’s fifty-year-old heritage.
Based in 1973 by Thierry Mugler, the style home is understood for its daring, avant-garde designs and architectural silhouettes.
“It is an honour to join the spectacular House of Mugler. As one of the 20th century’s great couturiers, Mugler reimagined the power and limits of fashion. Alongside the teams, I am thrilled to bring my own vision, story and emotion to this important heritage,” stated Freitas.
The model made the announcement on its social media channels.
Mugler was based in 1973 by designer Thierry Mugler. Recognized for its daring, avant-garde designs and robust, architectural silhouettes, the model turned iconic within the Eighties and Nineties. Mugler’s work typically blends futuristic and theatrical components, pushing the boundaries of high fashion and ready-to-wear vogue.
