A person accused of threatening to kill New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte with a “weapon of mass destruction” has been arrested, police stated.

Tristan Anderson, of Hooksett, has been charged with prison threatening and hurt or threats to sure authorities official in reference to a collection of Snapchat messages, which included antisemitic and anti-government rhetoric along with threats in opposition to Ayotte.

He allegedly despatched the snaps to a lady, considered one of which learn, “I’m going to target the NH Mayor Kelly ayott [sic] . With my weapon of mass destruction,” in response to a prison grievance obtained by the native Patch.

Anderson was arrested on Aug. 28 and remained in custody Friday with out bail. His subsequent court docket look is slated for Nov. 20.
